Things are coming along as I start my 2nd year  here in the midwest.  The class of students I have this year are much more challenging with behaviors than my previous class. I have started a new behavior log for a few children with very difficult behaviors.  I am posting it along with this.  Please let me know if this is helpful

Let's Begin

Well, today is the first day of my blog.  I am really excited to share all of the super cool things that I am learning this year.  It had been several years since I taught Kindergarten until I started here in Western Wisconsin this past fall.  I am so excited to be back in Kindergarten and am excited to have a terrific team to work with.  I hope to update this blog regularly.  Our day in Kindergarten is very busy each day.  We use Daily 5 as well as Phonics Lesson by Pinnell and Fountas for reading.  For Math instruction we use a combination of different resources but will be switching to Expressions next year. Let me show you what my classroom looks like.
